A Custom Sapphire Engagement Ring

This couple wanted a sapphire center stone instead of a traditional diamond. Albert Kaz worked discreetly with the groom to design a one-of-a-kind ring with Armenian-inspired details.

The emerald-cut blue sapphire sits in a two-tone setting of yellow and white gold, framed by hand-sculpted pomegranates (a symbol of Armenian heritage) accented with pink gemstones and pavé diamonds.

Speechless… I was left absolutely speechless after receiving my engagement ring. While Albert worked on it discretely with my husband it turned out better than I could have imagined. He was very helpful and engaged during the design process especially considering we wanted a sapphire center stone and not a traditional engagement ring. He was able to create a piece of art that is so unique to us and so special. Every angle tells a different story and I cannot stop staring it and the details!
