Peter & Janice: A Love Story Captured in Custom Jewelry

Their romance began in an unexpected place — a pole-vaulting competition in Fresno. From that moment, their connection grew stronger, blending Peter’s artistic soul with Janice’s keen eye as an accountant. Their love story took them to Italy, where Peter proposed during a gondola ride in Venice. In true Peter-and-Janice fashion, their excitement nearly tipped the boat as they captured the moment!

Designing an Engagement Ring as Unique as Their Love

Peter wanted a ring that truly reflected Janice’s individuality. Albert Kaz had previously designed a one-of-a-kind Tahitian pearl ring for her — a piece that sparked inspiration for the engagement ring. Together, Albert and the couple crafted a stunning 14K white gold engagement ring, featuring a brilliant round center diamond just over one carat, embraced by a double halo. Diamonds flowed down the shank, creating a piece that balanced elegance with sparkle.

But Albert didn’t stop there. To complement Janice’s pearl ring, he designed custom 14K yellow gold diamond-set ring guards. These allowed Janice to wear her pearl ring or engagement ring in different combinations, creating a bold, two-tone effect that elevated both designs.

Wedding Bands that Tell Their Story

To complete the set, Albert designed a bespoke wedding band for Peter. Crafted in 14K white and yellow gold with diamonds and intricate filigree work, the band reflected Peter’s artistry and individuality while pairing beautifully with Janice’s rings.
