Barbara’s Story: A Ring Reimagined with Innovation at Kaz Jewelry
At Kaz Jewelry, our greatest honor is helping clients continue their love stories through jewelry that carries deep meaning. For Barbara, her challenge was more than aesthetic — it was about being able to wear the rings that symbolized a lifetime of love and cherished family memories.
A Challenge Worth Solving
Barbara had worn her wedding ring and her mother’s ring for decades. But with arthritis affecting her joints, slipping the rings over her knuckle became impossible. Albert first resized them, but the fit was still uncomfortable — her wedding ring was too loose once enlarged.
Instead of giving up, Albert Kaz took the challenge personally. He understood that these rings represented 60 years of love and family heritage, and he was determined to find a solution.
A Unique Innovation
Albert designed a one-of-a-kind mechanism: a ring that opens slightly in front around the large diamond to slide over the knuckle, then closes securely around the finger for a perfect fit.
This thoughtful innovation meant Barbara could wear her beloved rings again, without sacrificing beauty, comfort, or design integrity. To make the piece even more special, Albert incorporated additional stones, enhancing its brilliance while preserving its original character.
Barbara’s Words
“I am so happy with my new ring; it retained the original design with some added stones, and after 60 years of marriage, it should last the rest of my journey. Albert, his wife, and staff are so friendly and accommodating, I would not think of going anywhere else.”
